The Institute is currently hosting two PhD students from the Department of Psychology, specializing in psychometrics for affective dynamics.

George Washington University

Our active research project with George Washington University is a project, funded by a $1.5m NSF grant, that focuses on using volumetric capture and spatial computing to augment the training process for remote medical personnel.

American University

The Institute for IDEAS is currently located at American University. This is where the volumetric studio is also located. The faculty of American University, including the founding director of the Institute, come from American University. American University students participate in many of the Institute’s projects. Our collaboration is close and we are thankful to the American University for their continous support.
